Email notification setup

Add parent–child product connectors and discount price displays to official Shopify notifications. Original Shopify wording, language and business logic stay unchanged.

1Open the order confirmation notification

Follow the path below to open Order confirmation, then click Edit code.

2Copy the current email body

On the editing page, find Email body (HTML). Copy all the content inside that field only.

Select all body content → Copy

Keep the email subject unchanged.
This tool processes only the email body, not the subject.

3Paste into the Meri email tool

Paste the Shopify email body you just copied into the field below.

Download a backup before generating and keep it on your device. Closing or reloading this page clears the input.

4Generate the Meri enhanced template

Click the button below and check the result. Do not replace anything if the structure cannot be safely recognized.

Paste the current order confirmation body.

    5Copy the result

    Copy the entire result, ready to paste directly into the Shopify email body.

    6Return to Shopify

    Return to the same editing page and replace the entire original email body with the generated result.

    Select all original body content → Paste the Meri result

    Keep the email subject unchanged.

    7Preview, save and send a test

    Preview the products, amounts and layout, then close the preview and save. After saving, open Preview again to send a test email.

    Preview → Save → Send test email

    The test is sent to the email address of the account currently logged in to Shopify. Check the message in that inbox.

    Backup, restore and common questions

    Download original backup

    Download a backup before generating and keep it on your device. Closing or reloading this page clears the input.

    Restore original body

    Paste the Meri body to restore into step 3, click the button below, then copy the restored result in step 5. You can also paste your original backup directly into the same Shopify notification.

    Keep the email subject unchanged. This tool processes only the email body, not the subject.

    After Shopify template updates

    Copy and back up the latest Shopify body, then follow these steps to generate, preview, save and test again.

    The online tool updates centrally. Emails already saved in Shopify do not update automatically.

    Common errors

    Do not overwrite the notification if it cannot be recognized. Make sure you copied the complete order confirmation body, not its subject or another notification. Already enhanced bodies do not need to be enhanced again.
